Metsä Group offers summer jobs with international experience. With this application form, you can apply for an international summer training related to production, maintenance and/or technology development at Metsä Tissue's mill in Mänttä, Finland.

What kind of summer job awaits you?
Metsä Tissue's international summer training is related to production, maintenance and/or technology development in various areas. In order to apply, you should be a student in a university or a university of applied sciences in Germany. This summer job is best suited for advanced level (Master programme) engineering students (with more than 3 years of studies already completed) in for example chemical, automation, electrical or mechanical engineering. We value technical knowledge and hope that you already have some experience of working in the process industry.
Your job will consist of an independent development task, which will be planned according to your study field and interests. In the job, you will cooperate with local production, maintenance and/or technology development professionals.
The job is located in Mänttä (Finland).
The duration and timing of the training are negotiable (2-3 months between May-September).
What practical arrangements does the training include?
The training includes accommodation so you don't need to worry about finding an apartment. Metsä will also pay your travel costs from Germany (return ticket). The training is paid.
What do we expect from you?
You are motivated to work abroad for a couple of months. You are also self-motivated and enthusiastic, with good interpersonal skills and a good attitude to work. The job is independent so you need to get things done, have good problem-solving skills and courage to ask for help and guidance when needed.
To succeed in this role you speak fluent English, and excellent communication skills are a must. Finnish language skills are considered an advantage. German language skills are not required.
