What kind of summer job awaits you?
The summer job is related to reporting and analytics in Metsä Board.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to gain practical experience with Power BI and visualization of SAP data, providing insights that drive the efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain processes. Your job consists of visualizations with Power BI, data cleaning and data model refactoring and working with Power BI catalogue development.
You will be working together with colleagues in the data and analytics as well as supply chain within Metsä Board and Metsä Group. You map the reporting needs with the stakeholders regarding supply chain, including inventory management and logistics. You will help to visualize data for business users utilizing Power BI, with the focus on user experience and usability aspects. You will also share your analysis with the stakeholders.
Depending on your interests and prior skills you may have possibility to expand your knowledge in the area of data and analytics, Python, DAX and SQL.
The job can be located either in Espoo or Tampere, with hybrid work including 3 days per week in the office.
What are we expecting of you?
You are ideally at the final stages of your university / university of applied sciences studies, with the interest in e.g. Data analytics, Industrial Engineering, Information Management or Business Analytics.
You communicate confidently in English as we work in a multi-cultural environment, Finnish language is an advantage. You have attention to detail, have good team working and problem solving skills.
You have experience in Data and analytics with Power BI, any experience on other Power platform tools is an advantage. You have some experience on data cleaning, data visualization and report building with Power BI. Basic understanding of ERP systems is an advantage. Familiarity with SQL or other data query languages is an advantage.
