What kind of summer job awaits you?
In Wood Supply ICT we support Metsä Forest business area by providing and maintaining crucial and extensive solutions used by the business experts. We are looking for a summer trainee to work with application development and maintenance related tasks in Wood Supply ICT. As a summer trainee you will participate e.g. in testing of selected cutting edge software of the industry. Also other ICT-related tasks suitable for your skills and profile can be included in the job, depending on your own interests. We offer a unique and versatile opportunity to be a member of our agile software development organization. What we expect from you?
We expect you to be reliable, flexible, proactive and a good team player. We value your ability to work independently and your willingness to learn and develop on the job.
To be successful in this role, we expect you to study/have studied one of the following fields: Information Technology, Data Science, Industrial Engineering and Management, Business Administration, Agriculture and Forestry or similar. You need competence in using web-based software tools, preferably Atlassian products and extensions, and we appreciate experience in software testing or forestry in your studies or previous work assignments.

Anonymous recruitment - this is how it works
This is an anonymous recruitment process. The gender and date of birth of the applicant are not asked for on the application form. Personal details such as name, mother tongue, time of studies, name of educational institution and contact details are hidden until the interview stage. Attachments (such as CVs) are also hidden.
Recruiters have access to the contact details of those invited for interview once the applicant has been selected for interview.
Our system will guide you through the application process. The questions on the application form will help you present your skills and experience anonymously. Answer all questions carefully. If you're invited for interview, your CV will be displayed to the recruiters to support the interview.
