We are now looking for a Summer Trainee, Credit Risk Management to our head office, the Biofore House, in Helsinki.

In this position you'll co-operate with colleagues and stakeholders across finance and business organizations globally supporting your growth into a credit risk professional during the summer. As a summer trainee in the Credit Risk Management team you analyze and interpret financial information and monitor portfolio development. You have an analytical and constructively critical mindset. You cope well under pressure, enjoy fast-paced working environment and have excellent communication and team working skills. In your studies you have ideally focused on finance or accounting field. What you will do
- Work with and get to know more about credit risk management and customer credit analysis
- Participate in monitoring UPM customer portfolio
- Analyze customer financials and participate in setting credit limits and providing recommendations to mitigate risks
- Co-operate with Sales, Collection and other internal teams and stakeholders
Who you are
We are looking for finance students already somewhat advanced in their studies. We appreciate a positive and energetic attitude, as well as taking initiative and responsibility. In our line of work you need excellent English language skills (both written and spoken). Other language skills are considered as an asset.
We will onboard you to your tasks, as well as the rules and ways of working in our workplace. From your first day, you are a full member of our working community, and we encourage you to be active, learn, and ask questions about your work.
