We are now looking for a
Summer Trainee, Electronics
to work with Control System and Devices Tribes team in Developing and testing electronics related to sensors, embedded systems, IoT and LAN network. For example: evaluate different camera sensor technologies, System on Chip platform, LCD displays, create test benches and perform practical lab test using thermal chambers and evaluation kits.
You will be part of Electronics-team in Hyvinkää, Finland. Depending on the phase of the work, it is possible also work part of the time remotely.
We are looking for Bachelor's or Master's student with ongoing electrical / electronics studies to work max. for 4 months during May-August 2025, based on availability and preference.
Based on knowledge, skills and interests, it is also possible to make thesis for KONE.
In order to be successful in this role, you preferably have
- Bachelor's or Master's student, area: electrical
- Good collaboration and communication skills, also in English
- Good IT skills including simulation skills
- Interest for electronics (e.g. hobby of electronics or embedded programming)
- Experience for basic laboratory tools (like oscilloscope)
- Fault finding / problem solving skills
- Teamwork skills and ability to learn new
- 3D printing skills
- Basic programming skills
