As a Summer Trainee in Treasury Administration with our Metso Treasury team in Espoo, you will handle:
- Bank account and cash pool management
- Settlement and postings of treasury transactions
- Loan administration
- Support monthly netting process for intragroup payments
- Support in month end bookings and controls of treasury items on group level and treasury related reporting activities
- Working closely with banks, Metso legal entities globally, Global Business Services and various other internal departments
Who you are
- A positive, spontaneous can-do mindset with a proactive approach to work and a great work ethic.
- Ability to work as part of a team while also handling tasks independently, with eagerness to learn, develop, and succeed.
- Ability to take ownership of assigned tasks and drive them proactively.
- Good skills in MS Office tools, especially Excel.
- Working experience in finance, treasury, or banking is considered an asset.
- Good communication skills in English; Finnish is a plus.

The expected monthly salary for our full-time trainee roles is between 2065-2875 euros per month. The exact monthly salary for each role is based on the candidate's number of completed academic credits and job location.
Our Summer Trainee positions are primarily targeted at students currently studying at, or recently graduated from, an educational institution in Finland, as well as Finnish students pursuing their studies abroad. Please note that we are unable to provide work permits or relocation services for these positions.
