Sustainability Reporting Manager

Adven Group is a dynamic energy company with 580 coworkers and 50 years of experience. The company operates over 350 energy sites providing heating and cooling for municipalities, households, businesses, and complex energy solutions and services for industries and real estate. Today Adven operates in Finland, Sweden, Norway, Estonia, and Latvia, and we are currently building our operations in the Netherlands.

We are now looking for Sustainability Reporting Manager to join our Group Finance team

The purpose of your work is to ensure that Adven Group complies with the reporting obligations and regulation of the EU corporate sustainability reporting directive (CSRD). You also ensure the continuous development of our sustainability reporting together with other stakeholders.

Your tasks include the implementation and management of reporting activities and data collection. You develop our reporting processes and coordinate the actual report preparation. You also manage the audits of the CSRD reporting as well as the data provided to the owners. You will cooperate across the entire organization and will be supported by external project consultants.

Your working location would be Adven’s head office in Vantaa, Finland.

To succeed in the role, we expect you to have

  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience from finance, e.g. business controlling, previous experience with sustainability reporting is considered as an advantage
  • a suitable university degree, e.g. in financial administration, environmental or energy engineering, corporate responsibility or other relevant field
  • keen interest in sustainability reporting and willingness to learn about the EU CSRD and other sustainability reporting regulation
  • excellent reporting and analytical skills, highly number-oriented
  • excellent collaboration skills and ability to communicate and influence at all levels of the organization
  • fluent spoken and written English
