System specialist, SharePoint and Teams

The role is based in Espoo, Finland. We offer a hybrid work set up. 



About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced System Specialist for SharePoint and Teams to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing a multi-vendor environment and ensuring seamless support across various levels. This position involves working with the Service Desk, acting as 2nd level support, and collaborating with external vendor as well as with  Microsoft. A key responsibility will be driving the implementation of best practices for governing our evergreen M365 tenant.



As the System Specialist for SharePoint and Teams, the following would be part of your responsibilites: 

  • Drive the implementation and adoption of best practices for our SharePoint and Teams workloads.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, policies, and procedures for SharePoint and Teams services.
  • Monitor system performance, identify improvement areas, and implement enhancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless service and support across the organization.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments and updates in SharePoint, Teams and M365 suite in general.
  • Manage the day-to-day service and support for SharePoint and Teams in a multi-vendor environment.
  • Provide 2nd or 3rd  level support and oversee the resolution of complex issues escalated from the Service Desk.
  • Provide technical competence to support users to leverage best out from their custom solutions
  • Liaise with support partner for 3rd level support and ensure timely resolution of critical incidents.

 

About you

 

We would expect you to have the following qualifications:

  • As a person you are solution-oriented with a positive can-do attitude, high energy and drive to achieve great things
  • You have completed a bachelor's degree or related technical/engineering discipline.
  • Experience in managing technology vendors and development partners
  • Proven experience as a System specialist, particularly in managing SharePoint and Teams environments.
  • Strong understanding of SharePoint and Teams services and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex technical issues efficiently.
  • Experience in a multi-vendor support environment is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Relevant certifications in SharePoint, Teams, or M365 are a plus.
  • Good co-operation skills are essential.  
  • Fluent in English is required; Finnish proficiency is a plus.
