Technical Sales Manager

About the role

  • Fortum's Nuclear Services is looking for a Technical Sales Manager with focus area of Sweden
  • As the Sales Manager, Sweden, you will have the responsibility for marketing and sales of Nuclear Services' offering to our Swedish customers in collaboration with the business lines.
  •  Being a member of Nuclear Services' team, you will support other Nuclear Services' business lines in B2B sales and marketing activities, by e.g. contributing to bid preparation and contract negotiation activities, especially in the Nordic countries.
  • As an important part of your role, you will also have a responsibility on strengthening our key customer management towards our main customers in Sweden, such as nuclear power plants and nuclear waste management organizations. You will support the Nuclear Services' business lines in key customer management duties, including customer relationship management, sales lead and opportunity development (e.g. customer contacting), tender preparations (e.g. in a role of bid manager), contract negotiation activities, customer portfolio management and reporting to the respective Nuclear Services business lines (ensuring up-to-date project reporting, invoicing and forecasting).
  • You will be based in Fortum's Solna office in Sweden. Hybrid work is possible.

Who are we seeking

  •  We expect you to be a motivated, cooperative and sales-minded person with good understanding of nuclear industry. You are capable of strategic thinking and able to develop our business holistically with a long-term perspective, taking into account demands of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Understanding of Nordic nuclear sector is required and existing network in the industry is beneficial.
  • Experience in B2B service business, as well as sales and project implementation is considered an advantage.
  • Success in the role will also demand excellent communication and networking skills in international business environment. A customer centric view and willingness to travel and work in an international community are essential characteristics to success in this role.
  • You should have work experience of at least 3-5 years in the nuclear industry.
  • You have suitable university or bachelor level degree in technology or economics and are fluent in English and in Swedish. Additionally, all other language skills are highly appreciated.
