We are seeking a Technology Sales Manager to join the Automation and Digital Solutions global sales support team.
With an extensive market-leading automation and digital portfolio in the minerals and metals processing industry, customers can boost operations, resource efficiency, and sustainability with online process analysis, optimization solutions, and services. With sales and specialist teams, you will have a crucial role in understanding customer challenges and expectations and developing sound solutions with unique value propositions.
What you'll do
Support and lead the development of customer solutions and value propositions by understanding customer challenges and expectations with sales teams
Develop selected strategic application segment business with market-leading automation and digital portfolio and stakeholders
Ensure technical and commercial integrity of the proposed solutions to expectations
Support sales and proposal teams and create collaboration between technology offerings
Continuously develop and follow up opportunity pipeline with stakeholders
Understand and be able to explain portfolio, implementation requirements, and procedures
Promote Metso's automation and digital technologies and portfolio in trade shows, conferences, webinars, and customer seminars
Contribute to sales materials and budgeting and continuous improvement of tools and way of working
Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation of portfolio by sharing customer and market feedback and ideas
Who you are
Proactive mindset, resilience, flexibility, and creative thinking to lead and support solution development in a global team of professionals
Appropriate education and strong practical experience in mineral processing, metallurgy, process automation, online analysis, or process industry
Capability to understand technical documentation, drawings, and process flow and instrumentation diagrams, and standard commercial terms, business models, and practices used in international trade
Passion for continuous learning in mineral and metallurgical processing, industrial automation, digital technologies, and solutions
Demonstrated capability of meeting strict time constraints, prioritizing and managing expectations of internal and external customers
Fluent verbal and written communication in the English language for external and internal meetings and presentations, success stories & articles, webinars, social media
Good command of MS Office software tools, Salesforce CRM, and virtual meeting systems
Skills to collaborate and coordinate other teams when needed
Willingness and ability to travel domestically and abroad (estimate 10-40 days annually)
