Validation Engineer

What you’ll do:

The primary function of this role is to support the efficient operation of the electrical test laboratory. This involves performing testing of UPS units and systems, developing test methods and enhancing test capabilities. Additionally, the role requires ensuring the laboratory functions effectively by following correct procedures and health and safety guidelines.

• Plan and build test setups, conduct system testing, and document test results.
• Develop test processes, requirements, and documentation.
• Create and implement test automation, including writing test scripts and procedures.
• Provide technical support to other departments.
• Oversee the safety and condition of laboratory equipment.
• Collaborate with Eaton test organizations globally.
• Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standards (General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories).

Qualifications:

• Experience in electrical testing or design
   

Skills:

• Knowledge of electrical systems, including installations and safety protocols.
• Understanding of embedded firmware.
• Familiarity with common tools and methods used in high-power lab environments, such as oscilloscopes, power analyzers, and meters.
• Self-motivated, self-managed, team-oriented, proactive, task oriented, and able to overcome obstacles to meet schedule requirements.
