We are looking for a new employee for our customer in Helsinki as a Washing Line Operator. The employment is on a fixed-term contract until 20.12.2024. The working hours are on weekdays in a day shift. The work starts as soon as possible.
Your tasks will be:
- Operating washing machines: Washing items on the washing line and in the spray washing machine, including hanging items in washing racks, drying, and packaging.
- Item preparation tasks: Mechanical cleaning of items for further processing.
- Item finishing tasks: Mechanical finishing of items after processing.
- Washing machine maintenance tasks: Assisting in tasks related to changing washing water and filters.
We expect you to:
- Be attentive and detail-oriented in your work
- Understand the importance of quality and safety
- Be physically fit; the heaviest items weigh over 10 kg, though most items are lighter (from tens of grams to a few kilograms). Lifting and hanging items is not continuous, but the work in general involves some physical effort.
What we value:
- Experience in production work is a plus
- Knowledge of materials, especially metals, is an advantage
