We are looking for an experienced Corporate Sustainability Professional to join our internal Corporate Sustainability team!

The purpose of this role is to develop KPMG's own sustainability work and prepare for reporting in accordance with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) until the end of 2026. Initially, you will be part of the People, Performance & Culture team, and after that, the role will transition to consulting as part of the Corporate Sustainability & Sustainable Finance team, supporting clients in their ESG ambitions.

As a corporate sustainability professional at KPMG

You will have the opportunity to join on a global expert organization's sustainability journey. Your responsibilities will include developing the CSRD reporting process in collaboration with various teams, leading sustainability development projects (such as climate action), and handling communication and reporting. As a Corporate Sustainability professional, you also have an important role in training and supporting colleagues in sustainability and CSRD reporting. In the internal corporate sustainability specialist role, you will have the opportunity to 

  • Lead and participate in various internal corporate sustainability development projects, with a specific focus on preparing for CSRD reporting and supporting our climate action  
  • Create analyses, set goals, and monitor their implementation  
  • Implement internal and external ESG communication and participate in organizing ESG-related events  
  • Analyze and handle data in Excel and PowerPoint 

 

You're a strong candidate for the position if you have  

  • Strong expertise in planning and implementing sustainability agendas, as well as project management  
  • Experience in sustainability reporting and its development, including CSRD 
  • Experience and interest in ESG impacts of an expert organization 
  • Relevant university degree  
  • Excellent written and oral communication, and presentation skills in Finnish and English.  
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as PowerPoint, Excel and Word

This is a permanent full-time position. The desired start date is as soon as possible, but negotiable. Our office is conveniently located at Töölönlahdenkatu 3 A, Helsinki, with excellent transportation connections.
