Data Governance Manager
In the journey of Digital Transformation, Data Governance and Strategy play a pivotal role in enabling data-driven decision-making and supporting strategic objectives. As the Head of Data Governance and Strategy Execution at Telia you will act as the Product Owner for data governance tools, data cataloging, and data quality management, as well as oversee privacy, security, and analytics data architecture initiatives.

Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining a comprehensive roadmap for enterprise data governance tools, leading initiatives to improve data quality across all domains, and acting as a single point of contact (SPOC) for internal stakeholders. The role involves gathering, prioritizing, and addressing tool and process improvement needs from various business units. It also includes shaping the organization's approach to data architecture by ensuring scalable and flexible data models that align with business objectives and supporting data model enablement across the company to ensure robust data flow and integration. Additionally, the position requires continuously evaluating and enhancing data-related processes to drive efficiency and alignment with business goals while fostering a culture of continuous improvement in data management across departments.
Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate has proven experience in implementing data governance and management frameworks, as well as leading and implementing data flow management initiatives at an organizational level. They have a strong background in overseeing complex projects, particularly those involving significant change management. Excellent communication skills are essential, with the ability to engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Fluency in English, both spoken and written, at an upper-intermediate proficiency or higher is required. Industry certifications in Data Governance (e.g., DAMA, CDMP) and familiarity with data governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, DataHub) are preferred.
(Monthly salary range for this position: 5857 - 7322 EUR before tax deduction).
