Are you passionate about the pulp and paper industry and eager to deepen your expertise in mill-wide operations? Join Valmet's Mill-Wide Solutions team, where you will play a key role in supporting customers and colleagues with pulp mill inquiries, sales cases, and troubleshooting.
We have recently established a mill-wide network, that consists of pulp mill specialists from different parts of Valmet organization with various backgrounds. We are now seeking a Development engineer, Mill-wide solution to further develop the knowledge sharing and way to operate within to network to assure customer excellence in our operations. This role is a temporary position to cover parental leave, with an expected duration of approximately one year.
You will report to the Director, VII and Mill-wide solutions in Pulp & Energy business line.
Key responsibilities:

Pulp mill specialist network coordination to share mill-wide knowledge

Design and implement mill-wide troubleshooting process

Consolidate pulp mill reference data for mill-wide network use

Coordinate research and development projects from mill-wide perspective
Skills and qualifications:
-
University degree in pulp and paper, chemical, mechanical, industrial economy engineering or other relevant field

Knowledge and interest of the whole pulp mill process, related key processes, as well an interest in new technologies in the field

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.

Good organizing and coordination skills.

Fluent in English; skills in Finnish or Swedish are a plus.
