Director, Transformation Office

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic strategy and project management professional to lead our transformation journey in the Patent Portfolio organization of Nokia Technologies. The Director of Patent Portfolio Transformation Office will be responsible for driving and coordinating our transformation efforts, covering all aspects of our operations from the operating model, governance, processes, and ways of working to IT systems, tooling, data, analytics, automation, and AI. The role will entail close collaboration with the Patent Portfolio leadership team, colleagues, and other key stakeholders from across Nokia Technologies. Given the multifaceted and strategic yet hands-on nature of the position, we are looking for a candidate with substantial project management experience both from top-tier strategy consulting and from implementation of IT systems, tooling, and data analytics. The role requires a hands-on approach to hypothesis development, project conceptualization, project management, data collection and analysis, structured problem solving, cross-functional collaboration, change management, execution and executive level communications.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

  • Leads the transformation journey of our Patent Portfolio organization
  • Drives and manages strategic cross-functional projects and transformation programs
  • Drives improvements in the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations
  • Delivers analytical and operational insights and identifies change and improvement opportunities
  • Drives rigorous data analysis and analytical problem solving to support decision making
  • Creates high-quality materials to facilitate structured collaborative problem solving
  • Engages key stakeholders and collaborates closely across the organization to secure buy-in
  • Ensures successful implementation through active change management
  • Develops top-drawer project documentation and executive level presentations
  • Owns and leads strategic projects from conception to execution and handover to operational teams
  • Contributes to top-management communication and executive level presentations

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of experience on strategy development, analytical problem solving, and organizational transformation from top-tier strategy / management consulting
  • Strategic thinker with a strong command of analytical problem solving and data analysis 
  • Proven track-record of delivering excellent results in demanding fast-paced project environments
  • Self-starter and completer-finisher with project management experience 
  • Excellent written and communication skills in English
  • Proven experience on leading IT systems, tooling, and data analytics implementation projects from a leading IT or data consulting company
  • Proven hands-on experience on data governance development and implementation
  • Strong academic record with a master's degree in a relevant field
  • Strong project management skills and a proven track-record of delivering diverse engagements
  • Highly proficient in market analysis, financial modeling, and business case development
  • Hands-on experience from operating model development and organizational transformation
  • Exceptional influencing and change management capabilities
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to operate effectively at different levels of abstraction
  • Able to handle complex concepts and translate complex analyses into clear recommendations
  • Team player with ability and drive to independently produce quality deliverables on tight deadlines
  • Highly proficient in producing high-quality materials and sharp executive level presentations
