Epec is a heavily developing technology company in the area of control systems, electromobility and autonomous vehicles. Now we are looking for a E-Mobility System Engineer to strengthen our team. You can be placed in any of Epec main offices in Finland (Seinäjoki, Tampere, Turku, Kuopio) - flexible remote work is possible at Epec.
What kind of tasks?
As a power electronics specialist, you participate in R&D projects to develop new products and systems for electric vehicle battery management systems and electric power distribution. You would be responsible for design and implementation of power electronics and control circuits. Your tasks will also include test requirements and specifications definition and product verification and validation activities. Documentation and reporting are also important parts of this position.

What we expect from you?
We expect you to have a university/polytechnic degree and a solid experience in electrical & power electronics design by using electro-mechanical, passive and power semiconductor components. Knowledge of high-voltage battery management systems, chargers and electric drives is also needed in this position. Experience in using PCB design software and designing embedded systems electronics are considered as a benefit. Fluent Finnish and English, both written and spoken, are essential and we want you to have practical hands-on skills to work in laboratory environments and good skills for team work.
