We are seeking a talented Global Process Owner, Master Data Management who will provide global process ownership in designing end-to-end master data processes related to Kalmar's vendor, customer, and finance master data. This role ensures process acceptance and compliance with other business processes through trusted stakeholder relationships and the implementation of a control framework. Additionally, it will establish structures to enable monitoring of process performance and required business outcomes.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end Master Data Management process globally.
- Use in-depth process knowledge and business acumen, along with best practice benchmarking, to design, implement, and monitor harmonized, best-in-class processes that deliver expected business outcomes with high quality and support efficiency and effectiveness goals.
- Define and design controls, align ownership to enable effective and preferably forward-looking monitoring of transactional risk and financial exposure, ensuring compliance with process-related regulations.
- Establish and operate a process framework, including high-quality and up-to-date process documentation.
- Manage the process development pipeline for the Master Data Management area.
- Represent Master Data Management in various forums according to Kalmar's process governance model.
What you'll need to succeed
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in the relevant field (eg. business/ logistics/ supply chain management).
- Lean and Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
- Project Management training or certification (SAFe or SCRUM) is considered an advantage.
- Business Process Management (BPM) certification is also considered an advantage.
Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in the relevant field.
- Experience working with and leading multi-country, multicultural teams.
- Proficient in process design.
- Knowledge of process documentation and business process management tools.
- Experience in process analysis/mining and BI tools.
- Project management experience and familiarity with project models.
- Proven track record in change management.
- Lean and/or Six Sigma certification is an advantage.
- Proficient in English is a must; any additional languages are a plus.
Skills:

- Experience with office productivity tools, especially Google Sheets and Excel.
