We are looking for you,
Head of Risk Management, Marketing & Services
to lead our risk management team located in Finland and Baltics.
Marketing & Services acts as Neste's channel for bringing sustainable products and services to the end customers. Neste has a network of close to 1 000 stations located in Finland and Baltics. In addition, Marketing and Services serves customers with direct deliveries and services in aviation, shipping and industrial sectors. Data, digital solutions and automatic convenience will play an increasing role to support our customers on their path towards a greener future.
In this role, you will lead and mentor a team of credit risk professionals to foster a risk-aware culture and ensure efficient and proactive credit risk management for the segment. You will drive projects to enhance processes and tools, manage collections with partners, and oversee Neste's insurance portfolio in collaboration with Group Treasury & Risk Management. You will leverage and develop technology for data-driven decision-making and collaborate closely with Sales, Finance, and Group Treasury & Risk Management to contribute to our organization's financial stability and growth. Your role in our team
- Ensure efficient and proactive credit risk management for the M&S segment in Finland and the Baltics
- Lead a team of 10 professionals
- Develop and implement proactive risk management strategies
- Actively lead risk management process improvement projects
- Oversee the credit approval process, ensuring thorough due diligence
- Review and approve large credit proposals
- Prepare regular reports on credit risk exposure, trends, and mitigation actions for senior management and the board
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including regulators, auditors, and internal teams
- Provide insights and recommendations based on credit risk analysis
- Coordinate with regulatory bodies during audits and examinations
- Manage the segment's insurance portfolio in close cooperation with the Treasury.
Keys to success in this role
- Over 5 years of hands-on experience in credit risk management, demonstrating expertise in assessing and mitigating financial risks
- Master's degree in Finance or a related field
- Strong analytical skills, complemented by comprehensive regulatory knowledge, essential for navigating compliance requirements
- Proven leadership abilities, including the capacity to lead, mentor, and develop teams of credit risk professionals effectively
- Development mindset: Leverage technology to enhance credit risk management processes
- Previous involvement in ERP renewal projects and proficiency in Microsoft D365 risk management tools a plus
- A responsible attitude coupled with a safety-oriented mindset, ensuring rigorous risk assessment and management practices

The recruitment process will include interviews and a possible aptitude assessment. The first interviews are preliminarily scheduled to take place on week 34. The person selected for the position must pass a health examination including a drug test. A security clearance is obtained with their consent.
