On behalf of our technology industry customer in Espoo we now look for a junior AUTOMATION ENGINEER to strenghten the in-house automation team. In this position you take part in delivery of process enhancing equipment of the Intelligent Instruments team. In the middlegrounds between electrical design and PLC you zoom in on the system features of the existing environment, relying on the documentation you figure out the appropriate way to hook up the new instruments. Any programming is done on the customer's own proprietary platform. In close team interaction you will grow into a process control specialist building on the technical insights derived from every project. Assignment duration is until further notice and work is mostly done on site in Espoo. The assignment is also suitable for freelance entrepreneurs part of our supplier network.
The automation engineer we look for is not yet the seasoned PLC-programmer but still you need to have genuine interest in process control. We expect you to be professional and self-driven sharing our passion for technology, engineering and the commitment to move our customers' performance forward. The work may include occasional trips to suppliers and manufacturers in Finland.
We expect of you:
- to be readily available at site in Espoo, Finland.
- relevant M.Sc./B.Sc.engineering degree in Electrical Engineering or Automation.
- at least 2 years relevant work experience and documented commitment to work quality and schedules.
- work experience in Autocad and preferably in Enovia.
- skills communicating fluently both by speaking and writing in English.
- and of course, the ability to work both independently and as team member on simultaneous projects under the occasional time-pressure.
