In this role, you will…

• proactively develop and implement procurement strategies for selected chemicals and  packaging categories.
• work closely with the Category Manager for packaging. 
• Set up and execute competitive bidding events with our E-sourcing tool ARIBA
• Negotiate and manage contracts for packaging material, selected chemicals and related services
• Follow up on the performance of the suppliers based on existing agreements.
• Manage the relation with suppliers, execute performance reviews, monitor the service level based on agreed KPI and also support claim resolution in case of deviations.
• assure up to date and in-depth knowledge of global markets by using all available sources and tools.
• be accountable for the supplier performance review, feedback process and supplier development programs.
• be consolidating the current supplier base to improve the performance on the total cost of ownership.
• support setting up relevant purchasing channels in Ariba Guided Buying, where applicable,  including the creation and maintenance of e-catalogues.
• maintain relationships with strategic vendors and Managed Service Providers.

About you

We are looking for a procurement professional, ideally with a university degree, with some years of experience as an buyer. Experience with Ariba and SAP procurement modules are key. Your English skills are on business level. You are a passionate negotiator with strong analytical and communication skills. You enjoy working independently and taking over responsibility. Last but not least, you are a team player.

Your salary package will reflect your profile, experience and the specifics of the country/location you apply for.

Should you join us in one of our Austrian locations and according to Austrian law , we offer compensation based on the collective labor agreement starting at EUR 77 543,9 annual gross salary (based on 38 hrs/week) plus a yearly bonus, and are willing to pay more based on your experience and background.
