We are looking to hire a Legal Trainee to join our Office of General Counsel (OGC) in Helsinki (In-house Legal Trainee). Our OGC, the internal legal department of PwC Finland, provides legal support to our management, business units and support functions. What will my tasks include?
Your key responsibilities will include assisting your OGC colleagues in a wide range of tasks, such as reviewing and drafting commercial agreements, translating legal documents and conducting information searches. Additionally, you will be providing legal support to our client facing professionals as well as participating in our internal development projects.
Your tasks may vary based on your experience and interests. We are eager to hear what topics inspire you and how we can provide a meaningful traineeship experience!
In this position you will report to General Counsel Sanna Pekuri.

This position offers a great opportunity to experience working in the in-house legal function of a company in a global environment. As a trainee, you will work alongside our skilled legal team, gaining hands-on experience and valuable insights that will help you build a solid foundation for your future career in the legal field.
Moreover, a positive, relaxed, and inclusive work atmosphere is essential to us. Together, we create a great workplace by following our values: acting with integrity, making an impact, challenging our thinking, collaborating, and caring for each other.
We invest in the well-being of our employees, offering benefits related to physical activity and healthcare, such as the Auntie service, our own gym, and other well-being programs. Additionally, we prioritize effective leadership and management practices, along with a flexible working model. We operate in a hybrid working model.
What do you expect from me?
- You are at the later stage of your studies in law,
- fluent skills in both Finnish and English (written and oral),
- previous work experience from the field of law, and
- a hands-on and can-do attitude.
Moreover, we welcome positive and enthusiastic attitude, pragmatic approach, a passion towards legal work, eagerness to grow as a legal professional as well as good communication and co-operation skills. We do not expect you to know everything - but we expect you to take ownership of matters handled by you, to have great problem-solving skills and to adapt well to changing situations. Previous experience and interest in contract law and data protection matters are considered beneficial.
We are seeking a motivated and versatile team member. We value the richness brought by diverse backgrounds and encourage you to apply even if you do not meet all the requirements listed above.
