We are looking for a Manager, Global Quality Management to lead our Global Quality Management team in the Pulp & Energy Business Line. In this position, you will focus on Quality Management related tasks and collaborate with P&E's global organization. You are a result-driven key player driving Valmet's performance forward to meet the excellence in quality processes and assure we meet the quality expectations. In this position you will navigate and cooperate with Valmet's international matrix organization with several equally important stakeholder groups. Your main responsibilities include continuous improvement, management system development and coordination of internal and external audits. You will work with colleagues mostly in Finland and Sweden and your working location will be Tampere, Finland.
Your Responsibilities are:

Leading of global Quality Management team with manager responsibilities - resource management and competence development

Management system management - maintenance, development, implementation, communication, and training of processes

External and internal audits - coordination of audits and audit findings, performing internal audits
-
Development of quality processes and practices in Pulp & Energy, plus selected development projects on Valmet level
-
Continuous improvement - support and training to organization, facilitation of root cause analyses and value stream mappings, and support with Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) analyses and reporting

Lean development and implementation

Collaboration with the global quality management team, Process Owners of business processes, e.g. Sell, Deliver, Supply & Category Management processes, and the whole Pulp & Energy organization
Expectations:
To be successful in this role you should have:
-
minimum 5-10 years' experience in Quality Management or Project Management
-
A suitable master's or bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or similar (E.g. paper/energy /pulp technology) including some quality related courses and good understanding of business processes

Knowledge of Lean methodology and experience or formal training in lean skills and root cause analysis methods
-
Good knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards and auditor competence
-
Effective written and verbal communication skills in English and preferably in Finnish along with training, presentation, and negotiation skills
-
Ability and skills to motivate internal and external stakeholders to deliver quality in matrix organization

Lead Auditor Qualification is recommended
