We are now seeking a Material Research Engineer to join our team and contribute to exciting new projects. This position is located in our headquarters in Pirkkala, Finland.
As a Material Research Engineer, you will:
- Participate in tire compound development projects tailored to diverse customers and applications
- Conduct in-depth research on raw materials used in tire compounds
- Develop sustainable raw material solutions for tire compounds
- Collaborate with our laboratory team to develop and improve compound testing and analysis methods
- Document and report your work and findings fluently and accurately
- Create new solutions and innovations to enhance tire quality and production processes
- Work closely with international customers and stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration
Our expectations:
- A degree in Material Engineering, Chemistry, or related field
- Strong analytical skills with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
- A collaborative attitude and a team-oriented approach
- An innovative mindset, with a passion for creating new solutions
- A commitment to continuous improvement and quality enhancement
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluency in English both written and spoken
- Willingness to travel for work
Previous experience on tire technology or materials is an advantage as well as working in international environments.
