We are currently looking for an Operational Resilience Specialist to join our growing Advisory services unit in Financial Services. As a part of Operational Resilience team, you will help our clients to deliver critical operations through various types of disruptions (e.g., financial stress / resolution, cyber incidents).
As an Operational Resilience Specialist you will:
- Support our Operational Resilience team and assist our clients to develop and implement a comprehensive operational resilience strategy
- Your work will include the following areas: Recovery & Resolution Planning, Business Continuity Planning, Cyber Resilience, Third-Party Risk Management etc.
- Have a leading role in developing our Operational Resilience team in our Nordic cooperation
- Work actively to expand your network in KPMG's Financial Services unit and use this to position innovative topics and projects on the market
- Work in an interdisciplinary team, solve complex problems and take on responsibility in an international environment with renowned major players in the Nordic financial services market
- Together with our clients, you will develop customized and tool-based solutions that combine both regulatory and business requirements
You're a strong candidate if you have
- Several years of experience (5+ years) in risk management, consulting, public policy, and/or law
- In-depth knowledge of Finnish & EU laws and regulations related to operational resilience (e.g., BRRD/IRRD, DORA, BIA/BCM, TPRM)
- Strong understanding of local and European risk management principles and regulatory standards
- Excellent communication skills in English. Knowledge of Finnish and Swedish would be an advantage.
- Advanced Excel skills. Experience with Python, Alteryx or Power BI would be an advantage.
- Master's degree in finance, economics or law
