Product Development Chemist, 2 paikkaa

What is the role like?

We are now looking for two chemists to strengthen our Professionals & Distributors Product Development team. In one of the positions the focus will be on Production support, while in the other, Sales support will be emphasized. Both positions require deep understanding of paint chemistry, paint production process, and systematic approach to problem solving.

As chemist, your responsibilities may include:

- improving our existing products
- finding and testing alternative raw materials
- supporting stakeholders like Sales, Production and Product Management
- looking for ways to make paint manufacturing even more efficient
- resolving complex customer needs

You will be located in our Pitäjänmäki site in Helsinki. The role also includes part-time remote working possibility.

You have a good chance of succeeding in this role if you have:

- A relevant degree, such as chemistry or chemical engineering (University or University of Applied Sciences).

- Previous experience in product development or chemical industry. Previous experience in the paint industry is seen as an advantage.

- Independent, systematic, and solution-oriented approach and ability to actively prioritise.

- Strong problem-solving skills and innovative thinking to find out-of-the-box solutions

- Good cooperation and interaction skills, as well as lots of good vibes! We are looking for a true team player to join our Professionals & Distributors team!

- Hands on -mentality. You will be able to develop our products but also produce and use them!

- Fluent English language skills - Finnish skills seen as an advantage

- Willingness to learn new things and develop your expertise! We are happy to teach you the secrets of the painting world because we believe that attitude is the key!
