Project Engineer

Mölnlycke is now looking for a new Project Engineer to our Mikkeli Technical team. This is a 12 month temporary contract starting as soon as possible. As our new Project Engineer, you will participate in various technical projects in the factory setting.

- Office-based at our Mikkeli Factory, with a hybrid work from home policy

In this role, you will be participating in activities like

- Implement factory machinery, equipment, and construction projects as well as technical development.
- Creating and maintaining a network with suppliers, contractors, and design partners to ensure the availability and quality of necessary resources.
- Monitoring compliance with good occupational safety practices.
- Based on the project order, defining and managing project plans to achieve the set objectives. The project order can be local or related to investments.
- Communicating plans and engaging the rest of the organization in resource utilization.
- Communicating the project's status to the sponsor and steering group.
- Implementing Mölnlycke's project management principles and familiarizing project participants to ensure implementation according to the company's best practices.

What You'll Need:
- Technical education, at least at college level
- Work experience in a technical role
- We see it as highly meritorious if you have 3-4 years of experience in an industrial environment and related operations and practices.
- English and Finnish skills, professional level

We see it as added value if you also have experience from:

- Reading and handling technical documentation, drawings, and information models.
- Project management, project practices, and use of project banks.
- Knowledge and understanding of existing processes and building technology.
- Knowledge of necessary regulatory practices.
- Hot work, fire safety, safe practices in projects.
