We are now seeking a dynamic Project Management office Trainee to join our team. Norsepower Rotor SailTM harnesses the wind to maximize fuel efficiency and reduce emissions of ships. It is the first commercially available mechanical sail for large vessels. It has a proven track record of successful operation since 2014. Norsepower's project services cover all phases from sales to project delivery and operational support. In this role, you will be part of a compact and motivated Project Management Office team. The team is responsible for ensuring high-quality and efficient project management by supporting project managers and developing project management processes, standards, and tools.As a summer trainee, you will produce materials related to terminology and project practices. Part of the job is to support and develop project management tools such as Jira and ERP. Depending on your skills and interests, you can assist project managers with coordination tasks and technical inquiries. In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn extensively about project management, various processes, and teamwork within a growing international company.To succeed in this position, we expect you to have completed at least a few years of relevant studies, along with strong interpersonal skills and a genuine enjoyment of working with diverse groups of people. You have the confidence to handle various assignments. The contract will be fixed-term, and availability to work from May until the end of August is highly preferred. Salary: According to the salary recommendations of TEK or the Finnish Association of Engineers (Insinööriliitto)
Requirements
At least two years of relevant studies in a technical field (e.g. Industrial Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Maritime, and Information Technology)
Good MS Office skills
Have full working proficiency in English
Bonus skills
Work experience in the technology industry or project management.
Experience with ERP or/and Jira
