Project Manager, Information Systems
to work in Ponsse Product Manager & PMO Team in Finland
Are you an experienced project manager with a passion for driving complex IT projects to successful completion? As a Project Manager, you will play a critical role in managing and executing Machine Control Systems projects within Ponsse. You will work alongside various stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet all business objectives. Your responsibilities will include overseeing project execution, managing resources, creating detailed project plans, and reporting on progress. You will act as a key point of contact for project updates, escalating issues when necessary, and ensuring that all project documentation is up to date.
In this role, you will be part of the PMO team, working closely with colleagues across multiple departments to ensure alignment with Ponsse's broader business objectives. You will manage multiple projects simultaneously, handle risk assessments, and make fast interventions when issues arise.
Key Requirements:

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in project management, IT, or a related field.

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management, particularly within IT or software development.

Proven experience managing multiple projects and working within an organized PMO framework.

Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.

Fluency in English, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus.

Ability to travel internationally if required.

You will be part of Ponsse's Product Manager & PMO team, reporting to Director, PMO Ville Hukkanen, and working closely with the team globally across Ponsse countries and subsidiaries.
The location in Finland will be Kajaani, Kuopio, Tampere or Vieremä, but we work with a hybrid model.
