Project Manager in data center projects
As our Project Manager, you look after the client's interests in the project during construction. You proactively monitor the project's progress - ensuring that everything goes according to plan in terms of schedule, quality and costs.
When it comes to construction, you largely hold the reins in the project. You lead a team of experts - engaging in the required dialogue with contractors, designers, procurement and the authorities. Your day-to-day tasks also involve resourcing, general organisation and drawing up international agreements.
You report to our client as agreed and ensure that the client is up to date regarding the project's status in terms of construction. Reporting is a key part of your work.
What about the projects?
As mentioned at the start, we have already launched a specific project that you will be joining. The project is one of the largest current construction projects in Finland.
Finland is an interesting country for global operators and investors. So the project you will be joining will not be one of a kind.
In all honesty, data center projects are demanding. The scale, technical complexity, international practices and procurement as well as schedules do not make life easy for us. That said, we are used to getting things done - together.

What qualifications do you need for this job?
For this position, years of experience are not a merit as such. The most important thing is that you have already worked on large-scale, technically demanding projects, even if you did not carry sole responsibility for them.
Your references include projects related to the renovation or new construction of industrial, business or commercial properties. Whatever your background, you want to increase your skills and take on independent responsibility for larger and more demanding projects. You want to keep learning.
As far as training is concerned, you hold a Master's degree in construction, an university of applied sciences degree or similar.
In terms of your working life skills, this role provides you with an opportunity to utilise your communication and negotiation skills. In this work, all success is shared, and it is vital to be a team player. In addition to expressing your own views, you are also good at listening.
It goes without saying that you finish what you start. As the role involves administrative work, you are also scrupulous in this respect.
As you work in international projects, both spoken and written English skills are a must.
