Introduction
We are seeking a Project Manager, Mill Lining to join our Mill Lining Commercial Demand and Supply Control team. You will be responsible for running development projects to support strategic growth and continuous improvement for the business. Your role plays a crucial part in the deployment of our new operating model, which will contribute to strategy and success of Mill Lining business line. In this position, you will report to Krystal Rhodes, Director, Business Development.
This position can be located in any of Metso major locations. We are also happy to offer flexible working arrangements.
Team you belong to
You will join a team of professionals dedicated to make Mill Lining business line successful in close collaboration with our market area organizations and the supporting functions. We are a new team and aiming to secure great quality in our operations and securing the success of the updated Mill Lining operating model.
We work closely with the full Mill Lining community and all our internal stakeholders. Our team culture is all about creating value and succeeding together.
What you'll do
- Lead Mill Lining business development projects in line with project governance guidelines including; planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, closing
- Lead change management for development topics including change impact assessment, communication and deployment
- Support the business with data analysis and development
- Act as a warranty case manager when required
- Provide systematic reporting regarding all project topics
- Support continuous improvement and ensure best practice sharing
- Ensure compliance to Metso processes, policies and guidelines
Who you are
- Several years of experience in development projects and data analysis
- Enthusiastic about generating customer value and leading through data
- Goal-oriented, process driven, and fully compliant with company policies and local regulations
- Excellent business understanding with ability to identify issues and continuously improve operations
- Strong skill set in collaboration and communication
- You can actively communicate and promote positive change perspectives
- As a collaborative leader you have a proven track record in navigating different environments and cultures
- You must be fluent in English, both spoken and written.
