About the role
As a R&D Electonics Engineer at ABB Oy, in Vaasa, You will be working on R&D projects, developing the develop next-generation products with skilled engineers. You will cooperate with global partners and other unit functions. As a part of an agile team, you will contribute creative ideas and propose follow-up projects.

Work tasks
- Electronics design (schematic and layout)
- Electronics maintenance support to other functions and problem solving
- Creating innovations by prototyping
- Contributing to the verification, validation and testing of the products
We are looking for
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. or finalizing the studies in electronics/electrical engineering
- Experience on electronics design in embedded environment (HW/SW)
- Familiar with schematic, simulation and layout tools
- A proactive and systematic way of working
- A solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
- Fluent written and spoken skills in Finnish and good skills in English
