We are looking for a structured and experienced e-Commerce professional for our IT Service Delivery, Sales and Marketing team. In this role you will work closely with different IT Delivery functional experts and various business and technical teams for building great e-business solutions towards our customers globally.
In this role you have the unique opportunity to contribute eCommerce landscape from IT perspective and from business perspective. You can see how the developed solutions support our business success in a long term.
The role is full-time, permanent and located in Turku or Tampere, Finland or Stockholm or Sandviken, Sweden
Your Mission as e-Commerce Architect,
Being in tight collaboration with the business product owner and IT development teams to design, plan, and execute the improvements and projects related to our offering in agile sprints.
Ensuring that the application architecture meets the true business needs and complies with architectural strategy and standards.
Acting as the point of contact for other IT deliveries and frequently discuss solution outlines with other architects. You will coordinate deliveries (projects, assignments) with other delivery teams and solutions. You will also bring in your own technical and visual expertise.
Working towards many different business domains such as sales, marketing, finance, and logistics, you ensure that our business requirements and strategies are successfully translated into new solutions.
Providing guidance and direction to developers and suppliers with the mission to ensure that changes are developed in a cost effective, sustainable way. You contribute to the alignment of application architecture with solution and enterprise architecture.
Main responsibilities in details
Architectural Vision and Roadmap: Develop and maintain the overall architectural vision for the e-commerce platform. Ensure alignment with business objectives and technology strategy.
Solution Architecture: Define and design scalable, reliable, and secure architecture solutions for e-commerce systems, including integrations with third-party systems.
Technical Leadership: Guide and mentor development teams on best practices for software development and architecture. Assess and improve team capabilities.
Agile Methodology Support: Collaborate closely with Scrum Masters to update and refine architectural views in alignment with agile delivery. Act as a key player in the agile development process.
Enterprise Architecture Evaluation: Continuously assess and optimize the e-commerce architecture, ensuring alignment with the broader enterprise architecture.
Operating Model Optimization: Evaluate and enhance the existing operating model to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the e-commerce ecosystem.
Vendor Management and Role Clarity: Assess the roles and capabilities of third-party vendors, ensuring that their contributions align with the overall architectural strategy.
Stakeholder Communication: Present and communicate architectural proposals and decisions and trade-offs clearly to business stakeholders and technical teams. Provide critical insights to challenge and refine requirements and designs. Provide guidance and direction in eCommerce domain, customer experience and support transform the solutions to the next level.
Documentation and Diagramming: Produce clear and concise architectural documentation, including diagrams and technical specifications, to support development and business teams.
Since our stakeholders and employees are located around the world fluency in English is mandatory and willingness to travel is also required.
