We are now looking for a (Senior) Manager, Technical Accounting to join our team in Espoo, Finland. The Technical Accounting team is responsible for Nokia's accounting policies and to ensure that these policies are applied consistently across the company. The team provides expert accounting support in all areas where significant IFRS accounting judgment is required including revenue recognition, M&A accounting, lease accounting, restructuring and special items accounting. The team is part of the Corporate Controlling & Accounting organisation within Finance.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
As part of our team, you will:
- Proactively engage with key partners from the business, functions and regions to understand and advise on accounting and reporting issues including restructuring activities, special items reporting, expected credit loss provisions and intellectual property, environmental and other legal claims
- Coordinate with key contacts from our People organization to ensure correct accounting and reporting of Nokia's restructuring activities.
- Lead a small virtual team responsible for posting restructuring provisions and reclassifying special items to appropriate cost centers within Nokia's ERP systems
- Work closely with Nokia's consolidation and reporting teams to support the quarterly closing and contribute to the preparation of Nokia's consolidated financial statements including specified footnote disclosures in external publications such as Nokia's Annual Report on Form 20-F as well as quarterly lnterim Reports.
- Prepare documentation to support the IFRS accounting for Nokia's restructuring provisions and engage with external auditors to support accounting positions
- Provide support in other special projects as needed, including finance support to actual or planned M&A transactions
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
You have:
- Master's degree in accounting, finance or economics
- Advanced Reporting process understanding
- Advanced system knowledge (HFM, Essbase, SAP) from a financial perspective
- Solid IFRS accounting understanding
- 8-10 years of experience working in financial reporting roles in large, multinational companies
- Accounting license such as KHT, CPA, ACA are a plus
- Ability to manage ambiguity and push through business challenges
- Hands-on attitude in defining and implementing changes
- Flexible and eager to learn new things and interested in Nokia's business
