Senior Process Design Engineers and/or Lead Process Engineer

We are looking for experienced Senior Process Design Engineers and/or Lead Process Engineer for customer projects in our Industry Business Unit.

Your area of responsibility includes tasks related to project process development, process design, procurement and commissioning. With solid process engineering expertise, you will be able to familiarize, supervise and guide our designers in technical challenges. You operate strongly in the customer interface, where our customers expect expertise and an active approach to work.

You can work at Elomatic office in Espoo, Jyväskylä, Tampere, Oulu or Turku, Finland.

What we expect from you

You play a key role in customer interactions, where our clients value expertise and a proactive work ethic. Creative problem-solving skills and adapting design solutions to the needs of our customers come naturally to you. The role also requires an understanding of the tasks of other areas of design in order to perceive the functionality of plant entities.

- Master's degree in engineering, for example, with emphases in process engineering, chemical engineering, bioprocessing, biochemicals, pulping tehnology, food technology or energy technologies
- Either
- Experience (minimum 2 years) in process engineering, process engineering process is familiar to you and deliverables of process engineering.

- Or
- Experience of minimum 5 years process engineering and you are interested to lead process engineer team as part of our project team

- In addition to a strong theoretical foundation, we value practical experience in industry sector
- Experience from energy-/process-/chemical industry or bio-/ food-/ biotech-/circular economy processes
- You are familiar with industry-related process technologies and production processes as well as industrial unit operations and thermodynamics
- Flexibility and positive attitude
- Ability to perceive the big picture
- Good written and oral expression skills
- Proficiency in Finnish and English, other language skills are considered an advantage
- Willingness to travel
