We are now looking for a PSU Engineer to join our baseband hardware maintenance team in Oulu, Finland. As a key member of our team, you'll get to take part in the introduction of new electrical technology and products. You'll participate in exciting and challenging international projects, where your contributions will play a key role in driving customer satisfaction and strengthening our business. HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
As part of our team, you will:
- Take part in the introduction of new electrical technology and products
- Perform electrical measurements of Nokia power supply units and modules in the laboratory using an oscilloscope and current meter under various ambient conditions and create testing reports
- Get the chance to participate in interesting and challenging international projects and solve customer problems together with colleagues
- Conduct product trainings to internal stakeholders like repair operations and production
- Participate in technical and project meetings both with internal and external stakeholders like power supply vendors
- Learn how end users are using our products and replicate similar configurations in our lab
- Learn and work with the complete software environment of a communication system to verify multivendor interoperability
- Play a very important role in developing customer satisfaction and thus in our company's business
- Be part of a multicultural and appreciative working environment
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
You have:
- Strong experience of the requirements for Power supplies and related equipment
- Good understanding of electronics and embedded control systems
- Knowledge of electrical regulations and country standards
- Good understanding of telecom industry power supply technology
- Basic mechanical engineering understanding
- Battery equipment / regulation and standards knowledge
- Understanding of customer documentation maintaining
- Ability to cooperate with different interest groups and the ability to work independently or in a group
