Senior Software Developer

We are now looking for a talented individual to join the development team for our NAPA Steel ship structural modeling product. As a Senior Software Developer your main responsibility will be the development and maintenance of Steel modelling features with the focus on the Ship hull detail design functionality. In this role, you will work as a member of NAPA Design entity Hull team in close co-operation with our ship structural modeling and computational geometry experts.  

Responsibilities in this role

• Development and maintenance of NAPA Steel detail modelling features and functionality
• Create innovative solutions in the field of ship structural modelling to further increase the customer value of our products
• Provide expert guidance to relevant stakeholders
• Stay up to date with software development trends to improve product quality

What are we looking for?

• Formal educational degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or relevant field
• 5+ years of experience with hands on programming
• Solid development skills and proficiency in C# and some Native programming language such as C, C++, Fortran
• Understanding of conventional CAD systems
• Knowledge about Computational Geometry and Solid modelling
• Solid communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Good teamwork and collaboration skills

• Previous knowledge of ship structures or experience in the maritime industry.
