Due to the need for improved collaboration tools and an increasing amount of 3D Ship model data, we are looking for a capable software developer to improve the multiuser features of our NAPA Steel Ship Modeling product.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop robust multi-user functionalities within the NAPA Steel framework, ensuring a seamless collaborative experience.

• Optimize the 3D data model to meet the intricate requirements of detailed ship structural modelling in a multi-user context.

• Enhance real-time collaboration among ship designers by improving the integration and synchronization of 3D structural data.

• Participating in innovating and implementing cutting-edge solutions that push the boundaries of ship design technology.

Due to our self-managed organization the exact assignments and tasks can be tailored based on your competencies and interests.

Our ideal candidate would have: 

• Formal educational degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or relevant field

• Solid development skills and proficiency with C# and some native programming languages (e.g. Fortran, C, C++, Rust)

• At least 3+ years relevant experience

• Good collaboration and communication skills

• Technical Proficiency in different Database Tools

• Proven experience with data security and compliance

• Experience in data modeling and design

• Strong problem-solving skills

These differentiate you from other candidates:

• Experience of designing software in multiuser systems

• Understanding of CAD data and the systems
