Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in software testing with hardware integration, focusing on software release testing and enhancing regression testing through automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Windows desktop software interacting with hardware components.
- Conduct thorough software release testing to ensure all features function as intended before deployment.
- Enhance regression testing processes by applying test automation to ensure consistent and efficient validation of software updates.
- Identify, document, and track defects, and work closely with SW developers to resolve issues.
- Analyze test results, generate reports, and provide actionable insights to improve product quality.
- Continuously enhance testing processes, tools, and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on software release and regression testing.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Robot Framework, SikuliX, Pytest, etc.) specifically for enhancing test automation in regression testing.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and Git version control system.
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
