We are looking for a highly motivated, customer-oriented Spare Parts Sales Manager for a fixed-term contract until 31.12.2025. We are looking for a person with a desire to work in a dynamic and international environment. In this role you are a member of the spare part sales team within the Global Customer Support Division for Deck Machinery.
Key Accountabilities
- Efficient handling of spare part inquiries and orders for a defined area. Typically, but not limited to opportunities within categories like major overhauls and docking.
- Pro-actively look for new opportunities with existing and "lost" customers.
- Involve the wider Kongsberg Maritime sales team in cross selling opportunities, upgrades etc.
- Secure efficient handling of inquiries and orders through close collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Keep customer updated on ongoing/pending inquiries and orders.
- Cooperate with customer support in relation to service attendance.
- Some travelling for customer meetings will be expected.
Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant education is desirable. Relevant experience may substitute the requirement of education.
- Experience in Sales / Marketing, or Technical experience from the maritime industry.
- Experience in customer negotiation, sales and commercial processes.
- Interest and experience in using various software tools is an advantage.
- Excellent knowledge in both spoken and written English.
- Outgoing, service minded and thrive in contact with new people.
- Solution oriented and seeks opportunities.
- Able to build relationship with customer and clients, as well as work independently when needed.
