We are looking for summer trainees to join our Customer Service teams in BU Fresh Containerboard. You can be based in our Varkaus, Heinola or Oulu Mills. The employment duration is 3-5 months, providing you with valuable exposure to customer service operations.
About the role
As a Customer Service Specialist trainee, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, playing a key role in maintaining exceptional relationships. Your responsibilities will include managing orders from start to finish, resolving complex issues requiring research and follow-up, and acting as a liaison between customers and internal teams such as supply chain, production planning, and logistics. You will also address customer inquiries and ensure a seamless flow of information throughout the process.
The main responsibilities:

Providing exceptional customer support, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience.

Communicating effectively with customers, maintaining product knowledge, and delivering timely and accurate information or solutions to meet their needs.

Managing the entire order lifecycle, from entry to delivery and invoicing

Coordinating with internal stakeholders, such as sales managers, logistics, mill production planning, and supply chain teams, to ensure efficient material flows

Planning and following up on deliveries, managing stock levels and proactively offering available stock materials to customers.
About you
The following qualifications will support your success:

Enrolled in or recently completed a university degree in a relevant field.

Interest in gaining hands-on experience in customer service.

Proactive and ready to take personal ownership of your work performance.

Ability to perform well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously with high quality.

A team player who interacts effectively with people and is open to sharing and receiving information.

Fluency in verbal and written English (additional languages are an advantage).
