We aim at offering summer jobs in our production units in Finland also for non-Finnish speakers. With this application form you can apply for production jobs at Metsä Board's board and pulp mills in Joutseno, Kaskinen, Kemi, Kyröskoski, Tampere, Simpele and Äänekoski.

What kind of summer job awaits you?
Summer jobs in production at Metsä Board's mills include a wide range of tasks primarily in the board and pulp manufacturing process. Mainly, the work is carried out in three shifts.
Work days in production are varied, offering plenty of experience and new things to learn. After a thorough induction, you will be able to work independently as part of a supportive and friendly team.
What are we expecting of you?
We have jobs for a wide range of people from both vocational and higher education backgrounds, including early-stage students. Your educational background could be in chemical, energy, mechanical, process, electrical, automation or industrial engineering.
We expect you to be reliable and proactive, and to have initiative and good interpersonal and co-operational skills. We value your ability to work independently, and your willingness to learn and develop on the job. Most summer jobs in production also require a willingness to do shift work and to be 18 years or older.

Anonymous recruitment - this is how it works
This is an anonymous recruitment process. The gender and date of birth of the applicant are not asked for on the application form. Personal details such as name, mother tongue, time of studies, name of educational institution and contact details are hidden until the interview stage. Attachments (such as CVs) are also hidden.
Recruiters have access to the contact details of those invited for interview once the applicant has been selected for interview.
Our system will guide you through the application process. The questions on the application form will help you present your skills and experience anonymously. Answer all questions carefully. If you're invited for interview, your CV will be displayed to the recruiters to support the interview.
