What kind of summer job awaits you?

The scope of your work at Metsä Group will be varied. Tasks are mainly routine tasks carried out independently or more advanced assignments, depending on your experience and willingness to develop your competencies. 

The Supply Chain Customer Service Coordinator in Joutseno is responsible for processing domestic and export customer orders in the SAP system up to invoicing. In addition, the tasks include export documentation related to orders and daily communication and liaison with internal and external customers.

The Supply Planning summer job in Rauma involves planning and organising production, inventory management and deliveries. The work also includes documentation and reporting and communication with internal and external customers.

The Supply Chain Logistics Coordinator summer job in Rauma includes planning and coordinating land transportation for designated pulp mills and sawmills. You will handle purchase invoices, transportation orders, and documents. You will closely collaborate with the sawmill and pulp delivery planning teams, as well as other internal and external stakeholders.

What are we expecting of you?

We expect you to be reliable, flexible, proactive and a good team player. We value your ability to work independently and your willingness to learn and develop on the job.

The job requires good ICT skills, ability to cope with pressure, and fluency in English. The jobs in Rauma (Supply Planning and Supply Chain Logistics Coordinator) require also Finnish language skills. Other languages are considered as an advantage. We value an upbeat approach to work, customer service orientation and good interpersonal skills.

The Supply Chain summer jobs are well suited to polytechnic or university students in economics, industrial engineering and management, logistics or a similar field.
