Use this application form to apply for a summer job as maintenance team leader or maintenance planning positions at Metsä Fibre's pulp mill and sawmill in Rauma.

What kind of summer job awaits you?


The scope of your work at Metsä Group will be varied and offer a wide range of learning opportunities. The tasks range from routine and assisting assignments to larger projects with more responsibility and development work carried out independently, depending on your own experience and willingness to develop your competencies.


You will work as a team manager or in other white collar positions at our pulp mill or sawmill. Positions are in our mechanical maintenance organization or automation organization, considering selected applicants' background.
 

  • As a team manager, you will be responsible for the efficient operation of your team, and you will enable your team members' development.
     
  • In planning positions, you will play a key role in enabling safe, high quality and efficient production.


You will be part of the mill's production or maintenance team and work closely with external partners. These summer jobs are done on a day shift.

What are we expecting of you?
 

These summer jobs are well suited for students of, for example, mechanical engineering or automation/electrical engineering. Previous experience in production or maintenance are an advantage. You have responsible and motivated work ethic. You want to develop your skills and have an independent approach to work and have active problem-solving skills.


We expect you to be fluent in English. Most of the tasks require Finnish language skills, but not all. We will consider also applicants who don't have fluent Finnish language skills.

Personal details such as name, mother tongue, time of studies, name of educational institution and contact details are hidden until the interview stage. Attachments (such as CVs) are also hidden.
