Summer Trainee, Business Development

SUMMER TRAINEE, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT  

Our global Marketing, Sales and Customer Engagement team is seeking a driven trainee to join us for four months from May to August at our head office in Kalasatama, Helsinki. 

Your key contribution areas  

Gain valuable experience in international business development with us! You'll have the opportunity to contribute to marketing, sales, key account management and competence development related projects, while supporting our daily operations. You'll work closely with our global teams taking care of Lindström's largest strategic customers. Your key responsibilities will include: 

  • Coordinating global training events, including materials, schedules, and communication 

  • Supporting in the creation of presentations and templates  

  • Assisting in conducting data analyses and preparing reports 

  • Supporting local teams in other Lindström countries in tasks related to key account management and sales 

We will tailor the traineeship to your knowledge and interests, giving you the opportunity to take part in exciting projects. 

What helps you to shine in this role?  

We hope you are proactive and have a natural talent for keeping track of things to ensure everything runs smoothly. You have a genuine interest in global markets, marketing, sales, and customer experience, and you are eager to learn about international business development. To thrive in this role, you should have: 

  • Bachelor's or master's studies (or a recent degree) in International Business or a related field 

  • Strong communication and writing skills 

  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills  

  • Excellent written and spoken English skills 

  • Ability to use Microsoft Office tools efficiently (knowledge of CRM systems is a bonus)
