About the role
We're seeking a motivated summer employee to join our digitization project, which involves scanning various documents, including electrical, machinery, and power plant drawings. Your role will be to use your skills in archive management to ensure accurate digitization. The material to be digitized is in the premises of Fortum's Power plants in Muhos.
In this role you will get the opportunity to familiarize yourself with the operation of the hydropower plant from a document management point of view.
The start and end date for this summer trainee position is negotiable.
About you
The job requires IT skills, but the most important thing is that you take initiative and have a precise approach to work, as well as tolerance for repetitive routines and the ability to work independently. We use the Project Wise document management system, and the employees selected for the position will be introduced to all necessary equipment and software.
Having started studies in a suitable field, like for example design assistant, information management and archiving or technical design, is an advantage in the job. An interest in information management or previous experience in digitization of paper materials is beneficial for the position. The role requires fluent skills in Finnish and English (written and oral).
