Danfoss Drives is looking for Summer Trainees to join our AC Drives R&D Product Team this summer in Tampere.

Job Responsibilities
If you take on this exciting challenge and join us as our Summer Trainee you will take on a variety of tasks in our R&D laboratory:
- Preparing the drive for measurements by soldering test points, gluing temperature sensors, assembling the drive, installing its software, and configuring the drive loading system.
- Measuring parameters from the drive and its circuit boards using a data logger, oscilloscope, power analyzer, and acoustic noise measurement tools.
- Reporting and analyzing test results in collaboration with the product team's development engineers and test engineers.
- Building and maintaining laboratory infrastructure, including test setups, motor benches, and test cabinets.
- Learning how to work in an agile organization and being a member of a hardware Scrum team.
Background & Skills
To be suitable for this position, you should have University or University of Applied sciences studies in the fields of Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics or similar.
The ideal candidate understands electrical safety, experience using electrical measuring devices and laboratory tools such as oscilloscopes, soldering tools, and power tools, and basic knowledge of reading schematics and circuit layouts.
