About the Role
You will be part of our software development team which will bring you to the center of our core business. Our software development teams operate according to agile development methodologies and work in close collaboration with the product owners throughout the whole development life cycle.
We are looking for two Summer Trainees: One to work in back-end development tasks of some of our business applications, and the other to work in our low-code center of excellence.
About you
You are eager to learn the new technologies and get hands-on experience with a positive can-do attitude. You like working cross-functionally in a fast-moving international environment. You have communicative skills, a strong sense of responsibility, appreciating the freedom to be in control of your own time and effort. You are fluent in English as that is our main working language.
Required background for back-end development summer trainee:
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or similar (3rd year at minimum).
- Experience with one of the following programming languages: C#, Python, Java, Kotlin.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Self-organized and capable of working as part of larger development team.
Required skills for the low-code area summer trainee:
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or similar.
- Hands-on attitude and skills needed in prototyping and testing.
- Microsoft SharePoint or Power Platform experience.
- Experience in creating business applications for specific business processes using Microsoft technologies.
- Good facilitation skills, from for example customer service or teaching experience.
In addition, we value:
- Other relevant skills in software development like QA, DevOps, CI/CD, AWS or Azure Cloud basics.
- If you know building blocks used in business applications like databases, client-server architectures, backend solutions, CIAM/IAM and integration solutions, best security practices.
- Experience in hackathons, programming contests or other social coding & design events.
