Summer Trainee, Spare Part Sales Support

We are looking for a  

Summer Trainee, Spare Parts Sales Analyst 

to join Normet's Global Spare Parts Team in our Kuopio, Iisalmi or Espoo office, for the period of June 1st - August 31st, 2025 to support our Global Spare Parts team. 

The team is responsible for Spare Parts Portfolio and its mission is to improve customer satisfaction, increase the share of customer wallets and ensure business profitability. In this role, you will assist with data analysis, campaign support, and business tool management to enhance our global spare parts business. The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical, analytical, and communication skills, combined with a strong drive to learn and contribute to a global team. 

Main responsibilities and tasks: 

• Assist with data analysis initiatives related to global spare parts sales development.  

• Perform data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy in metrics, sales figures, and other data.  

• Create clear and visually engaging graphs and reports for business insights.  

• Contribute to the planning and execution of global campaigns for spare parts. 

To shine in this position, we hope you have:  

• Commercial acumen  

• Basic knowledge of coding and data analysis tools  

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail 

• Experience with PowerPoint, advanced Excel and PowerBI  

• Familiarity with PDM and ERP systems is a plus  

• Basic understanding of supply chain and inventory management is a plus  

• Basic understanding of item master data management  

• Basic technical understanding of heavy-duty machinery is an advantage 

• Master's or Bachelor'sdegree student, or graduate, in Knowledge Management, Computer Science, Business Administration, Data Science, Industrial Management  

• Curiosity, creativity, energy and enthusiasm 

• Good communication skills in Finnish and English   

• The right attitude to work with a global network of people with different personalities and cultural backgrounds
