Supply Planning Manager

We are looking for a Supply Planning Manager for a newly formed team to actively ensure timely and efficient supply and overall competitiveness of NEOT.

What we do

We are a significant independent fuel procurement company in the Baltic Sea region, we also actively operate on the global trading market. We specialize in oil and renewable products wholesale in Finland, Sweden and Norway. NEOT is owned by SOK and St1 Nordic Oy and we work in close cooperation with our owners. Annually we supply roughly 6 billion litres of fuel products to our owners’ operations, including large service station chains St1, ABC and Shell

Our office, situated in central Helsinki, employs approximately 55 people. YOUR ROLE

The Manager / Team Lead role we expect to constitute up to 50% of a full-time position so the role will be combined with responsibility for an operative planning function. Exact function dependent on candidate. 

  • Lead and manage a new team of planning professionals 
  • Ensures compliant behaviour in the distribution chain; monitors stocks and drives the country organization toward stock efficient behaviour for NEOT main markets in all our Nordic countries
  • Monthly cargo delivery planning together with cross-functional input from commercial, operations, shipping, refinery, external suppliers and other internal stakeholders
  • Inventory management, development of planning tools and system work.
  • Harbor jetty planning
  • Annual planning and forming a view of supply trends, restrictions, grades and volumes
  • Assist commercial department in negotiations processes
  • Communicate and collaborate daily with internal and external parties

NEOT is a very hands-on organization with low level of bureaucracy so you will be expected to both assist

when unexpected issues arise as well as be comfortable in taking decisions.

Qualifications

  • University degree from a relevant field.
  • Minimum couple years’ experience from the commodity industry or nearby field with focus on scheduling/logistics.
  • Strong preference from previous experience of leading a team.
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English, Finnish or other Scandinavian language is an advantage
